Odegaard has been out of action since September after suffering an ankle injury while on international duty with Norway. And has missed the Gunners’ starting line-up since.
Odegaard’s return is therefore great news for Arteta and everyone at Arsenal. After the Gunners have only picked up one point in their last three Premier League games. Losing 0-2 at Bournemouth, drawing 2-2 at home to Liverpool and losing 0-1 at Newcastle.
Arsenal will play their fourth game of the UEFA Champions League’s last-16 tie at Inter on Wednesday after a fine run of three games. Drawing 0-0 away at Atalanta, winning 2-0 at home against Paris Saint-Germain and 1-0 at home against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard has returned to full training following an ankle problem. The Norwegian midfielder has not featured for the Gunners since damaging ligaments at the start of September during Norway’s Nations League win against Austria.
